Gary brings to Sahlman Williams more than a decade of broad-based communications experience including public relations, public affairs, media relations, community relations, issues management, crisis management and brand and multicultural marketing.  In June 2008, Gary was recognized by Produce Business as a winner of its “40 Under Forty” award.

Gary currently manages the Sahlman Williams West Coast office. He has built an especially strong reputation within agriculture, retail and foodservice industries. Previous to joining Sahlman Williams, Gary represented clients such as Almond Board of California, Fresh Produce Association of the Americas, Duda Farm Fresh Foods, Golden State Foods, Partnership for Food Safety Education, McDonald’s Operators’ Association of Southern California, Krispy Kreme, Dave & Buster’s and Real Mex Restaurants.

Gary is a graduate of the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), with a bachelor of arts in political science with an emphasis in International Relations. He speaks, reads and writes Spanish fluently.

Interesting fact:
I served as basketball and football play-by-play announcer for UCLA's college radio station.
